The Grandmaster's Necklet is a prestigious decoration exclusively worn by the current Grandmaster of the Society of Augustus. This honour symbolizes the highest commitment to our values and mission. The Grandmaster, as the leader of our community, embodies the principles we uphold and serves as a role model for all members. The Necklet represents not only authority but also the responsibility of guiding the Society toward its goals.
The Director's Ring is a prestigious symbol of leadership and dedication within the Society of Augustus, reserved for our esteemed councilors. Crafted from high-quality metals, this distinctive ring features the Society’s emblem, representing the councilors' commitment to the monarchist cause. The Director's Ring not only signifies the authority and responsibility held by Directors but also fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose among the Society's leadership. Worn with pride, this ring serves as a constant reminder of the values and heritage that bind us together in our pursuit of monarchism.
The Medal of Aquila Aurum ('Golden Eagle') is awarded to initiated members of the Society who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service. Recipients of this medal exemplify the highest standards of commitment, integrity, and contribution to the Society’s goals.
To acknowledge the vital support from our external members and volunteers, we also present the Caesaria Medal to those who have shown remarkable dedication and service to our cause. This award recognizes their significant impact and collaboration with the Society of Augustu, and is named for our original founder, Edward Caesaria.
Recipients of the Cross of Sacrifice of the Volunteer are those whose daily choices embody the spirit of “service above self.” Nominees include, but are not limited to:
Family Caregivers
Individuals who devote themselves to caring for relatives with dementia, chronic illness, or other disabilities, day in and day out, without expectation of reward.
Charitable Volunteers
Those who give their time and energy to nonprofit endeavors—running charity shops, refurbishing furniture for low‑income families, staffing soup kitchens and homeless shelters, or aiding relief efforts in times of crisis.
Environmental Stewards
Volunteers who patrol local parks, roadways, and woodlands to remove litter, or who salvage reusable items from refuse, guiding neighbors in recycling and re‑homing goods through “buy nothing” networks and charity outlets.
Neighborhood Pillars
Community members who keep a watchful, caring eye on their neighbors—lending a hand with errands, yard work, or companionship, forging bonds of mutual aid and resilience.
Elder and Youth Supporters
Those who brighten the lives of others by volunteering in elder‑care residences, public libraries, children’s events, or educational programs—creating moments of joy and learning across generations.
Through bestowing the Cross of Sacrifice of the Volunteer, the Society of Augustus honors the quiet courage and unwavering dedication of ordinary people whose generosity transforms lives and uplifts communities.
Honorary Fellows are individuals recognised for their exemplary service to the monarchist cause and are invited to join the Society by the Grand Master. Unlike regular Fellows, Honorary Fellows do not progress through the ranks as invested members do. Their membership is based on the recognition of their contributions rather than the expectation of active participation. While they are not required to take the Oath of the Society, they may choose to do so on a vocational basis, differing from regular Fellowship.
Individuals may petition for Honorary Fellowship; however, unless proof of extraordinary contributions to Monarchism is provided, acceptance is unlikely. Honorary Fellows may also petition to transfer to regular Fellowship status, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Grand Master. If accepted, they must take the Oath of the Society and will then be eligible to progress in rank like other Fellows.
