Fellows are individuals who have petitioned for membership of their own free will or have been invited to do so by the Society. Upon their successful induction, Fellows commit to the mission and objectives of the Society, contributing through active participation and service. Fellows are eligible to:
Progress through ranks within the Society, based on their dedication, achievements, and continued service.
Receive a Mark of Investiture, which signifies the conferral of an honour, office, or commission. Marks of Investiture may also grant a Fellow the authority to issue their own, within specified circumstances, as directed by the Council.
Fellows are integral to the Society's activities and its governance, ensuring that its operations are aligned with the principles of monarchism.

Honorary Fellows are individuals who have been recognized for their exemplary service to the monarchist cause and are invited to join the Society by the Grand Master. Honorary Fellows differ from regular Fellows in the following ways:
They do not progress through the ranks as invested members do.
Their membership is based on recognition of their contributions rather than the expectation of active participation.
They are not required to take the Oath of the Society, but can do so on a vocational basis, the opposite of the regular Fellowship.
People may petition for Honorary Fellowship, however unless proof of extraordinary contributions to Monarchism are provided, you will not be accepted.
Honorary Fellows may petition to transfer to regular Fellowship status, wherein they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Grand Master. If accepted, they must take the Oath of the Society and will then be eligible to progress in rank like other Fellows.
Individuals who wish to become members of the Society of Augustus may submit a petition for Fellowship. The application process is outlined below:

Review Process
The Society’s Council will review all petitions. Successful applicants may be invited for further discussion or clarification before a final decision is made.
Oath of Fellowship
Upon acceptance, regular Fellows must take the Oath of the Society to affirm their dedication to its values and mission.
Applicants under the age of 16 are not eligible to submit a petition for membership. Current Society Fellows who were admitted prior to reaching the age of 16 shall retain their membership status under the provisions of a grandfather clause, but as Junior Fellows, until their birthday.
In accordance with Chapter II, Article I, Section II, membership shall not be denied based solely on the inherent characteristics or traits of a candidate, particularly those beyond the candidate’s control. All candidates who adhere to the fraternal values will be treated with equal respect and consideration.
Values:
Since the foundation of the republic, the states which have acted upon its ideals have become the worst of tyrannies; many states have turned despotic, not in spite of but rather because of the republican system on which they are founded. Look to Weimar Germany, to the crimes of the French Republic including the genocide in the Vendée, to the Trail of Tears America paved, to internment and slavery for less than reasonable things, and proclaim them anything but the will of republican tyranny. In spite of this, our Society’s ‘moral compass’ is focused on compassion, service, and the advocacy of the system of monarchy, and monarchical rule.
The Society operates with a structured hierarchy of ranks that reflect the contributions and leadership of its members. Promotions are determined by merit, ability, and vocation. The ranks are as follows:
Grand Master
Marshal
Prefect
Master
Senior Fellow
Fellow (Honorary)
Fellow
Junior Fellow
This system ensures recognition for dedication to the Society’s mission and provides opportunities for advancement.
Council members always hold the rank of Marshal of the Society.
Grand Master's Necklet
Volunteers are individuals who assist the Society of Augustus on a part-time, temporary basis without being formally invested as Fellows. Volunteers support the administrative and operational tasks of the Society, working alongside Officers to help fulfill the Society's mission. While volunteers do not receive formal ranks or titles, their contributions are invaluable to the Society’s efforts.
Volunteering offers an alternative pathway for individuals who do not meet the requirements for Fellowship, have been declined for Fellowship, or prefer not to pursue formal membership. By assisting the Officers—who are all invested Fellows—volunteers gain experience and insight into the workings of the Society while contributing to the promotion of monarchism.
Volunteers may be considered for future Fellowship if their dedication and service align with the values and objectives of the Society. However, there is no expectation of advancement or investiture from voluntary service alone.
If you are interested in volunteering for the Society of Augustus, please complete the Volunteer Application Form and submit it to volunteers@societyofaugustus.org. This form includes basic personal information, a statement of interest, and any relevant skills or experience that could contribute to the Society’s mission.
Volunteers may assist with tasks such as:
Event organization and coordination
Administrative support for Officers
Assisting with communications, social media, and outreach
Supporting research, writing, or special projects related to monarchism
Volunteers will be contacted by Officers for specific tasks and projects as opportunities arise.
